My Thoughts

When an all girl school gets infected by the “Tox” the government puts them under quarantine, and installed a giant wall. 18 months later they are still there, when Hetty’s best friend Byatt goes missing she will do anything to find her.

I’ll be honest here and say the cover of this book definitely drew me in, it is so beautiful and I just love it. Unfortunately that is all I really love about this book, I read this in a couple of sittings as I struggled to finish this one. I loved the idea of this book, this mystery disease taking over, the remaining girls at the school struggling with their flare ups, limited food and being isolated. The first half of the book was the better half, I couldn’t wait to see what happened once they set out to find Byatt. After that it was downhill for me, It seemed to be a pretty slow lead up to it then boom the last half seem very rushed and almost incomplete. Especially the ending I mean really that’s it nothing more, ugh I’m sorry I’m just so disappointed that I didn’t love this one more. I don’t recommend this one at all!
